Mix oil free soap in a bucket with hot water and sponge wash the concrete floor to remove any remaining stains. Particularly on older concrete slabs exposed to the elements the variable porosity of the slab allows the stain to penetrate to different depths creating natural areas of light and dark staining. Allow the stain to dry completely for a couple of hours. Heat the marble tile with a heat gun or iron set on the highest temperature for at least five minutes.

Before you seal your countertop you should apply two or three coats of 511 impregnator which will soak into the concrete and help to keep it stain resistance from the inside out. Once sealed with clear sealer your floor will pop with an elegant look. Apply the impregnator in smooth easy brush strokes. The acid stain reacts with the concrete to produce a marble like effect.

You can then add a second coat to the surface. Be careful if you are removing a stain from darker colored marble as hydrogen peroxide can cause the marble to lighten.
